Below are the top three neighbourhoods that are achieving the largest price gains and the top three that are selling the fastest.
Guelph Neighbourhoods with the Largest Median Sale Price Gains (March 2019 vs. March 2018):
- Dovercliffe Park / Old University – 45.1%
- General Hospital – 39.5%
- Downtown – 36.1%
Guelph as a whole had a 2.8% median sale price gain in March 2019, relative to March 2018. As such, it is amazing to see the substantial price gains of these three neighbourhoods. It is evident that Dovercliffe Park / Old University, General Hospital, and Downtown are all selling for top dollar at this time. If you own a home in these three neighbourhoods and are thinking of selling, now is a great time to do so.
Fastest Selling Neighbourhoods (Median Days on Market):
- Exhibition Park – 8 Days
- Dovercliffe Park / Old University – 8 Days
- St. George’s – 10 Days
In March 2019, median days on market were 15 days, meaning that homes are taking a touch over two weeks to sell. However, homes in Exhibition Park, Dovercliffe / Old University, and St. George’s are all taking significantly less time to sell.
